Long Distance Relationship

Unfortunately, Poppa and Randie live 35 bazillion miles from Buffalo. One of the good things that comes from living far away from someone you love is getting awesome stuff in the mail from them! Poppa and Randie always send me super cool, thoughtful fun gifts. No matter what the occasion, every few weeks it seems I get something in the mail from sunny Las Vegas. Valentine's Day this year was no different, and I thoroughly enjoyed opening up my special parcel. Poppa is even coming to visit soon, I have really grown up and grown hair since the last time we saw each other. As it is with most situations, if you really love someone, you can make it work!

The B's

Mommy and I went and hung out at Great Grandma and Grandpa B's the other day and it was so much fun! I have a lot of Grandma's and Grandpa's, but no one has told me what the B means yet. So far I am thinking Ball, Bowl, or Bean, because those are my 3 favorite B words. Grandma and Grandpa B have about 16 or 17 little dogs, and they are so nice to me. They smell much nicer than Uncle Frank, and they have beautiful haircuts and long flowing
beards! They are graceful and fluffy demure little lady dogs, and they have much better manners than Reggie. After a whole sleeve of crackers and some flirting with Grandpa, Mommy and I went home. I can't wait to go back!

Running Man

By the way, I can walk. It's been a pretty long time coming I think. The first steps I actually took were in the living room on Christmas, walking between Dad and Uncle Jon. I am cautious and thoughtful, and my moves are particular and well planned. I started very slowly, and gradually worked my way up to where I am today- walking, waddling, running, and attempting to jump. Walking is very exciting, I want to walk everywhere- into the kitchen, to let the girls out, into Mommy and Daddy's room, out the front door, around Urban Outfitters and Niagara County Produce, into the walls, oh and steps! I LOVE STEPS. Up, down , 2 at a time. I will take steps anyway I can get them, and there are not many I can get to in the house. I work on my steps at the JCC, Mythos, and Spot mainly. Sometimes Mommy and I climb the big concrete steps leading to the porch. Wild! Wild, I tell you. Peep this video and check out my skills!

Gramma Time

Sometimes after work, Grandma Gette likes to really unwind and take a load off. Usually on these days, she comes over and eats blueberries with me. She is so much fun, she really knows how to make me laugh.

Chores

Mom and Dad let me know early on it is important to do your part. I can't seem to find a job in this terrible economy, and I like to help out at home as much as possible. When Daddy and I fold laundry, we need to take a few breaks. Sometimes for the potty, sometimes for rice pudding, sometimes for whole wheat fusilli.

Couchin'

We had a small family pizza party for Grandma Gette's birthday. Uncle Jon managed to contain me for about 3 minutes until I saw the ice cream cake.

Toy Chest

One of the greatest gifts I have ever received is my very own wooden toy chest. Grandma B mentioned something about picking out my favorite one, but Santa showed up at our house 6 days before Christmas, at 2 in the afternoon, smoking and wearing brown polyester from head to toe. He was not bearded,
fat, or really jolly at all. I thought I recognized him from when my winter boots came in the mail, and he got back into a huge brown truck- not one single reindeer in sight, and definitely not a sled. Maybe he was going to a costume party.
