Sunday I went apple picking for the first time. Mom and Dad and Sarah took me out to Becker Farms in Gasport. If I had to guess I'd say it is about 400 miles away from home 'cause I slept the whole way there. 11 people all together, we had a pretty motley crew. It was more fun than most of us could handle, and a reminder that fall is in full swing. We fed goats for about 30 minutes. They really loved my Dad! In line with the battle of Country Mouse vs. City Mouse, Mom was totally terrified to have goat mouth near her hand. She fed one some corn- they have really soft lips! After we all took our pictures in the pumpkins, we got 50 scrillion donuts and some apple cider, but I can't have cider 'cause that stuffs' not pasteurized. Grampa Steve likes donuts more than anyone I know. After we all loaded onto a truck, we went into the orchard so Mike could throw apples at misbehaving children. We filled our bags with apples and I even got to pick some and sit in a tree. I had so much fun I puked a little, and I snored the whole way home.
